In the case of the process of propulsion, it works as an air-cooled engine that uses air to move the fuel, rather than to flush the oxidant, as in the rocket. Heat, in this case, comes from the fuel, which in turn tightens the pistons.

1) According to Position:
1.1) Thermal or Heat Engines:
It includes the famous engine types. In general terms, these engines require the base of the heater to move. Depending on this that how they produce the heat, they will be either continuous (not connected) or non-connected. They work by burning oil directly or changing liquids to create work. As a result, most heating engines find some overriding chemical propulsion technology.
1.2) Internal-Combustion Engines (I.C):
It includes in the most common engine types. Mostly, I.C uses in automobiles. It uses in trucks, lawnmowers, helicopters, and more. The largest I.C engine can produce 109,000 horsepower to move the ship that can hold 20k containers. Electric motors get their energy from burning fuel in a special area of the system called the combustion-chamber. The chamber procedure produces a reaction(oxidized) with a larger volume rather than the composite (oil and oxidizer). The next thing is I.C bread and butter – that’s the move to have. The heat only comes from the components and waste oil storage energy, because it does not provide a normal function of the body.
1.3) External Combustion Engines:
An external electric motor (E.C engine) includes in the famous types of engine. They store the oil separately. And they burn the fuel in a room and heat-up the beer inside an engine via a thermostat and wall. In some cases, E.C works similarly to I.C. But both require heat from burning paper.
The E.C engine uses liquids that pass through thermal expansion or transfer but have the same material changes in manufacturing. The liquid that can be used as gas (as in a Stirling engine), liquid (in an organic Rankine card machine). It can reciprocate the level (as in an engine). In I.C engines, the liquid is mostly based on gas smelting and air mixture on fire (changing its chemical-function). In the end, the engine discharges the fluid after it has been used, such as an I.C.
1.4) Electrical Engines:
Three types of electromagnetism: magnetic, piezoelectric, and electrostatic are there. Magnets, like batteries, are the most widely used. It is based on an interaction of the magnetic fields and the electric current to produce the function. It works as the same principle as dynamo utilizes to produce electricity, but on the other way around. Of course, you can generate electricity if you start the generator manually.
2) According to the Fuel:
2.1) Petrol Engines:
It uses petrol as fuel. These include in the most familiar engine types. Mostly, they use in motorcycles, generators, and some other vehicles. It also knows as the “Self-ignition (S.I) engine”. Because the fuel in these engines burns through an external spark that emits by a spark plug. And then the vehicle starts to move.
2.2) Diesel Engines:
It uses diesel as a fuel due to that it knows as a diesel engine. It is also known as a combustion ignition (C.I) engine. Because the fuel in these engines burns itself due to the high temperature of the air.
3) According to the stroke:
3.1) Two-Stroke Engine:
It completes the power cycle with the help of two strokes of the piston (up and down). And the crankshaft revolves only one time in a one-time fuel burn. It reduces the moving parts as significantly as compared to four-stroke engines.
3.2) Four Stroke Engine:
It completes the power cycle with the help of four strokes of the piston. As a result, the crankshaft revolves two times in a one-time fuel burn.
3.3) Six Stroke Engine:
The six-stroke engine includes in the most common engine types. It completes the power cycle with the help of a six-stroke of the piston. As a result, the crankshaft revolves three times in one time of the fuel burn.
